(LONDON, Ontario) – In compliance with recent changes to the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) will become a completely smoke-free facility as of June 30, 2016. Non-smoking restrictions are being expanded to prohibit smoking anywhere on hospital properties including buildings, grounds and parking lots. This applies to cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars or pipes containing burning tobacco, or any other substance (such as marijuana) that can be smoked in any other manner.
