Baby's Temperature

A normal temperature for an infant is between 36.5 C and 37.4 C when taken under the baby's arm. Check with the nurse at the hospital to make sure you know how to check the temperature under the baby's arm.

If your baby:

  • feels hot
  • has flushed skin
  • is crying more than usual
  • is not feeding well

Check his or her TEMPERATURE.

Call your doctor or midwife if your baby's temperature is greater then 37.5 C when taken under the arm.
