Patient Review Clinic Care Team
You will be seen by a team member in the Patient Review Clinic while on treatment.
Your patient review team may include:
- Nurses
- Radiation oncologist
- Nurse practitioner
- Dietitians.
Your Radiation Oncologist will determine how often you need to come to the Patient Review Clinic while you are on treatment.
Patient Review Clinic Appointments
At these appointments, you will be able to talk about any concerns you have with your treatment or side effects. Feel free to write down any questions or concerns you may have about your treatment and bring them to your review appointment.
Some things you might want to talk about during your patient review appointments are:
- Questions about your cancer treatment
- Side effects from radiation therapy
- Prescription renewal (for prescriptions related to your treatment/side effects)
- How might over-the-counter drugs or supplements affect your cancer treatment
- How might treatments affect physical activities (any special precautions?)
- Coping with treatment
- Available support systems
