Overview
The South West region covers an area from Lake Erie to the Bruce Peninsula and is a mix of urban and rural geography covering an area of 21,639 square kilometers. The region is home to nearly one million people .
The South West Regional Cancer Program (SWRCP) is one of 14 Regional Cancer Programs that ensures cancer care is delivered according to province-wide quality standards in the South West region. The SW RCP oversees the delivery and quality of cancer services for the counties of Grey, Bruce, Huron, Perth, Middlesex, Oxford, Elgin, and part of Norfolk; these boundaries align with those of the South West region. The SW RCP is dedicated to providing a comprehensive regional cancer system for residents of the South West region. The role of the RCP is to ensure access to the right services, in the right place, at the right time, by the right provider for all forms of cancer.
