The South West Regional Cancer Program supports cancer screening across Ontario’s southwest region. Ontario has four organized cancer screening programs:
- Ontario Breast Screening Program
- ColonCancerCheck
- Ontario Cervical Screening Program
- Ontario Lung Screening Program
Cancer screening is for people who do not have symptoms and generally feel well. If you have symptoms, notice new changes, or are already being followed by a cancer care team, please speak with your family doctor or nurse practitioner about the right next step. Screening does not replace diagnostic testing or imaging.
