The South West Regional Cancer Program (SWRCP) is hosting a resource fair on Thursday, April 30 to provide resources for caregivers of loved ones with cancer.
Anyone who is a caregiver of someone with cancer is welcome to drop-in to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre atrium on the main floor (near the Tim Horton’s) at London Health Sciences Centre between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to learn what services are available to you.
There will be representatives from community and hospital supports to provide information about their services, and for visitors to ask any questions they may have. Some representatives that will have booths at the event include Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Caregiver Organization, Wellspring, and the SWRCP Peer Support Program.
If you are interested in learning more about the services available to support caregivers of those with cancer but are unable to attend the event, resources will be linked on the Patient Information Zone section of the Verspeeten website following the event.
