Welcome to London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC). Our skilled and dedicated nurses, physicians and other health-care professionals will do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as
possible.
A safe patient care experience is our highest priority and we consider you to be an important member of the health-care team.
We encourage you to be involved in every decision about your care and treatment. Ask questions and voice concerns at any stage in your care, including what to do when you go home from the hospital. We encourage a partnership between patients and their care providers. Read through the Patient Rights and Responsibilities to see how you can and should engage in your care while at the hospital.
As we are a teaching hospital, you may find that the next generation of health- care providers—residents, trainees, and students—are part of the team caring for you. You may also be offered an opportunity to participate in clinical trials and research studies that will help to improve care and treatments in the future.
